Soooooooo, has anyone else ever gotten a really long and thoughtful letter from their (incredibly nice!) ex that they broke up with so as not to burden them with all their Liminal issues asking them to return to their home state and spend Christmas break with them or is the Rift causing me to have some ridiculous Hallmark movie delusions? Is that it? Is that the next thing? We haven't had any disasters in a couple weeks so I figured I'd check.

Okay you're still cute but honestly isn't it better to get that out of the way now instead of like at the tarmac of the airport? Awkward.

I guess so. If I'm going to get rejected, I'd rather it be online than after I'd already gone through the trouble of packing and getting on a plane. (Also thank you!)

And like! Just do a little check in to make sure he's still all good! Like no matter what he won't be exactly the same guy he was all those years ago but just scope out red flags and all that first. Just to be sure!

Wouldn't hurt to run a little checkerooni through your state's public court records just in case. You can find divorce records there too ..... helpful.
