Tbh, we’re handing out fruit snacks to people in line. And free coffee vouchers to the random full decon samplees. So you know what, it kind of is a party.

The exchange of perspectives would only be good for everyone, I think. I’m not sure how fun it’d be for them, though. Conflicting philosophies, imo.

we love a lil grunt work now n then. idk what i mean i've just been thinking about it, it's kind of everything you said but mostly liaising??? with more than just sitting in meetings. like i can heal folks, at least as triage, and i never got to finish the paramedic stuff cause of burlington [...] evacuating n everything but i kept up my EMT cert this whole time and it feels like a waste of it all to just be like "yeah i can help you with your cut wait til we get home in 20 minutes to 12 hours ok???" when we're out there. like i watched my partner's ribs get crushed tonight and it's a fuckin sight we could really use an actual field medic or some shit idk

I don’t know how much help I can be if that’s what you want, that’s a lot of work and responsibility for one guy. But if you’re trying to float the idea of a field medic more generally, I’d back you up. Are there any other Explorers with qualifications like yours? Or would we have to get Medical people qualified for Exploration? Just trying to figure out how this would work. I’m assuming there’s some reason why IRIS doesn’t send field medics out with Exploration teams, but even Army medics and Navy corpsmen get deployed in combat zones, which is different but not so extremely different, I think.

and nah i'm pulling back from ops soon anyways, just ain't decided if it's the whole way or not. got enough on my plate to keep me from trying all 3 at once. [...] idk about qualifications neither or how it'd work i think lee's probably the closest but he like JUST got here n i don't wanna keep dumping stuff on him. i didn't mean a whole program i'm not a whole program guy, just if they're gonna use me they can at least use more of me in better ways. i'm realizin now i maybe brought up something bigger than i meant to after a night lassoin townsfolk in the riftlands though.

I guess my question, if you’re the only Exploration field medic, is how will team assignments work? Given the nature of the riftlands, any mission can get really dangerous really fast, so what does it mean if you’re sent out with a team but other teams have to wait one to twelve hours before they can receive medical help? I’m not saying you have to be responsible for answering these questions, just that these questions might come up.

bro right now i'm like in a disney movie when there's a shadow that moves on its own but it doesn't have features or anything cause it's just a placeholder for a guy. not that i don't appreciate all the questions n thoughts cause you're real good at this shit and i know i'm not but i can't think about any of it this much til i've had food n sleep n i see the light of day again, til then i'm on autopilot for all the things i know i gotta get done. i think i'm just kinda frustrated at feeling like we're not doing everything we can til we get back to the station idk i might wake up tomorrow and be all "ha ha what the hell were you on fairfax"
