Perhaps one of the more seasoned residents of Enodia can shed some light on the mysterious serpentine individual who was observing the evaluations the other day, as my guide was quite dumbfounded by them and couldn't begin to tell me who they were. The evaluations, by the way, were certainly a highlight of the grand tour.

Anyway, hello. My name is Dr Darcy Musiał and I've just joined the Research division. This is my first official posting at an IRIS station, though I'm not unfamiliar with the ongoing research into the Riftlands. My work primarily focuses on the conservation of settlements and infrastructure that's previously been overtaken by Riftland expansion. I'd prefer not to get too close to any giant moles, though!

the look she and Thornton exchanged was AT LEAST 3.5 seconds long which means she's definitely here bc she was assigned by a high-level IRIS administrator who looked through her record and recognized the lengthy, detailed history of proven success, greatly improved productivity, and increased employee engagement when she and Thornton have worked together in the past. somehow though, he missed the the sizzling heat of their white hot chemistry or any mention of their lengthy will they/won't they flirtationship. the care with which she books his monthly calendar and cancels superfluous meetings, the pleasant silences between dictation sessions, the heavy-with-meaning pauses while they attempt to discuss what the most recent predictive data analysis of employee turnover means for Enodia's long-term success. she's here because she's in love, dude. and she just doesn't know it yet.
