At 9am on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, the Food Here sign was finally removed from the space above the restaurant. After a repaint of the exterior, the new sign went up today officially announcing the new name without any real pomp or circumstance.

Everyone in Enodia Station received this invitation for the Grand Opening on August 13th.

A smaller group of people received this invitation as well.

Lou is surprised to be included (because he is Lou) but he also RSVPs (although he has to think about whether he knows anyone who wants to go as his plus one [as a friend]).

AAAAH CUTE Crysta's coming for sure and will publicize the ENTIRE thing on her social medias for free. She has a few ideas for this plus one and they're all bad.

Rhodes will for sure be there pickles in hand and has NO idea about how to handle a fancy dinner or a plus one so that should be fun.

Zee RSVPed immediately and displays this proudly on the Fridge.

Tom RSVP'd pretty quickly and jokingly (?) put herself as her own plus 1.

Linus never turns down an invite but IS surprised by it and will probably forget to RSVP until the day before the event.

Parson RSVPed right away. He spends a brisk 25 minutes actively avoiding thinking about plus ones.

Annie RSVP'd for both her and Jack for both events. She did not ask Jack first, because that's the kind of shit you get to do when you're engaged. Her RSVP contained a little congratulatory note and the next time she sees Cole she'll ask him if there's anything she can do to help.

I just returned to the Station today. What a welcome. Is this your place?

I felt a tingling in the force saying that you’d be back. And here you are!

I think the consensus was that they wanted a KFC. But yes, this is my newest endeavor.

Was it an interesting time or did you miss the station?

Really good food. Our new chef, Leon, is incredible. You should see him work. Everything he does is perfect. I'm afraid if I blink too many times, he'll realize we're undeserving of his talent and he'll leave.

Rusty’s been a hoot this week. He’s going to have a whole week off. What will he do with his time? (The answer is mandatory therapy.)

I have extra invites if there was someone else you wanted to invite to the soft open.

How much do we trust that ol Russ will attend his therapy? Staring deeply at his reflection in knives does not count.

Tbh I'm so new here that I kind of don't know who to invite and the people I do know...would be a little weird to invite. I trust your guest list judgements over mine any day.

I'm gonna walk his ass there myself. If you catch him near the knives, let me know. I told Savannah to make sure he didn't have access to the knife block.

Thanks, and yeah actually, very excited. Little nervous, feels like it's been a while since a big opening. But I've got faith in the vision and what we've got prepared, and that's what matters.

Whit did a lot with the designs. Wait until you see the menu. Leon’s a genius.

You're still a superstar for doing this. I'll miss having trashy Americana right round the corner but a fancy schmancy spot to dine at is going to be better 😊

I think you'll still find there's stuff to suit that need for grease at 2am.
