Yeah, most of the deserts in the northern hemisphere are on the 30th parallel. Very dry. All the water here is kind of freaky.

WY's got good desert but i grew up way north in the mountains. i actually had they've actually got lots of rivers n stuff around those parts too, kinda oasis-style.
