The more you say, the less concentrated the thought is. It gets dispersed. That’s why all the shit that I say is so stupid. The more you keep your thoughts to yourself, the more potent they are.

This presumes that people are expressing thoughts in bad faith and saying things they don't mean for the sake of diversion. It also presumes that stewing on a thought leads to further clarity, which in my personal experience, is not the case.
