Raine told Jack he likes food and that he has a spice tolerance. Like an uncle who knows very little about you and fixates on one or two personal facts, Jack will now be foistering spicy food onto Raine from now until eternity. He's made phaal curry using ghost peppers from a plant Lou gave him, and there's a little index card in front of the dish indicating what it is and Jack's warning, in thick majuscule script, of "BE FUCKING CAREFUL!!!"
