Hey guys. I just got an update from Analeigh on Ernestine. Mrs. Waters revoked her parental consent, so the internship is off. It sounds like the family wasn't happy about it. Apparently her grandmother drove down to the station this morning and tried to get a meeting with Magdy. [...] Not much we can really do about it now.

Yeah, Lily mentioned that Ernestine's father is a liminal and that he didn't like reaching out to IRIS for help. Preferred the simple life.

Her dad doesn't trust IRIS enough to reach out for help, but she's obsessed with working for them. That's weird.

She probably just wants to understand him better. It sounds like he never told his family exactly what his abilities were.

Maybe! Doesn't make it not a lil odd to me.

Oh, it definitely is. I'm just not sure if it's Capital O or lower case o odd.

I'm not sure either... I guess we'll find out...

Oh, nothing is normal about this. These people having such divisive feelings about IRIS makes it even more intriguing why he disappeared.

Bummer. I'm tempted to take the shuttle up to see her when Grayson is feeling better, but [...] you know, probably shouldn't get involved in family matters.
