Texas Hold 'Em

The game is Texas Hold 'Em. It's a "casual, friendly" game, but the stakes are real and you'll be good for your debts. It begins when people show up sometime early afternoon, and ends when someone wins the big pot.
ANTE UP
If you're over about 35 years old or you were friends with Thomasin before she left, you received a casual, verbal invite to today's festivities. Welcome! (If you're not sure, but want to be there, throw yourself in! She's not checking invites at the door.) If enough people attend, we'll handwave that multiple tables are playing elimination, with a championship table at the end.
Thomasin provides: cards, tables, chairs, poker chips, a few drink options, and a variety of salty and sweet snacks. She quietly encouraged folks to bring drinks -- her bar is not yet fully stocked. (She did, however, have the foresight to stock up on Gatorade and the like -- post-Pride hangovers are real.) There are no decorations, and while she has unpacked, there is still an empty, unadorned feel to the place. She is not one for clutter or for knick knacks.
Players will notice there are two Thomasins walking around tonight. People who know her will be used to this. Host Tom is keeping bowls of cashews filled and drinks in hands. She's noticeably friendly and cheerful. Player Tom is in Competitive Mode.

All players have a chance at the big pot. Please rank your character's technical skill, bluffing skill, and competitiveness from 1-5, with 1 being worst and 5 being best. Rolls will be completed and the winner will be determined in the evening on July 3rd.

VOLUNTEERS
- VOLUNTEER 1 doesn't know much about poker and is surprised when they win a big hand. How?
- Uh oh. This is for real money? VOLUNTEER 2 is a little short, but luckily VOLUNTEER 3 is kind enough to spot them. You can Venmo them later!
- Lenz thinks their gracious host is using her double to cheat.
- Is VOLUNTEER 5 hogging the [snack of choice]? VOLUNTEER 6 certainly thinks so.
- VOLUNTEER 7 turns out to be surprisingly good at bluffing.
- VOLUNTEER 8 gets a little too into watching for everyone's tells and forgets to play their own hands, too.
