He has not been this close to Lou for this extended an amount of time since their breakup and a million things that could go wrong do in fact escalate in Rhodes' head. He can't spill anything. There's nothing to spill. He probably will not accidentally slap Lou, or step on his foot, or anything terrible, as that is not a thing that happens to normal adults sitting next to their exes. These are just intrusive thoughts. Okay. Fine.
