"I don't mind parties sometimes," Raine says, although his tone clearly implies that he'd prefer it if there weren't one currently happening in his living room. It's why he's still here, even if he also feels that clock winding down. Ten minutes is generous. He shouldn't have come in here at all. But the solitude is nice, even if it isn't real, so he lingers for a moment to admire the lake.
