Either option elicits a smile from Enoch, who immediately suppresses it. They're less than ten minutes away from someone saying something that causes the other person to walk away, because that's how all of their conversations go now. It's not in Enoch's nature to blunt his sharp edges for the sake of keeping the peace. But it's also past 3 AM, and he's too tired to go for the most confrontational thing to say right now.
